Ehrlichia Open

1:00pm shotgun start (this means every team goes to a designated tee box and we all start teeing off at the 1:00pm).

A scramble event...each player on the team hits from the tee box once, the best shot as determined by the team members is where the next shot is played from. Each player hits again, the best shot is determined and the process repeats until THE BALL GOES IN THE HOLE.

Every player must use his/her tee shot at least ONCE (i.e. Jim Jirjis needs to get one ball down the middle out of 18 tee shots...)

The ball can be placed on a favorable lie within one club length of where the tee shot has landed (includes plucking a ball from beneath a tree, rock or man made obstacle).

Once on the green, you must putt from a marked position on the green, the 'scrambling' process continues until a team member putts the BALL IN THE HOLE (see item 4).

The team's score for the hole is recorded on the SCORECARD.

There are going to be golf balls flying all over the place, so consider a hard hat.

There is NO SEARCHING for a ball that will not assist you in obtaining the lowest score on the hole.

Everyone will tee off from the white tees (the "established" men's tees/pro women golfer's tees). On hole #10, everyone hits from the red tees.

Please replace divots with the margarita salt/green sand mixture you will find on your cart.

It is not allowed to rain.

Please eat lunch prior to arriving at Legends Club, as dinner will be served. A fine meal will be provided starting at 5pm , with awards ceremony afterwards. Prizes will be awarded to Best Team Score, Worst Team Score, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Drive .

"Recognition" will be given to best and worst dressed golfer, and best and worst golf swing. Photography provided by Jeff Mason, Inc.

Team assignments will be made to ensure even distribution of talent. Bo Casey (golf pro at Legends) has generously offered to help us learn to play golf prior to the Open from 12:00pm-1:00pm.

A refreshment cart will be available for you on the course!
