Brief Bio:

Dr. Jim Loyd received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 1969 and his M.D from WVU in 1973. He trained in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt from 1973 - 1978, except for an sojourn to the US Navy from 1974-76. He completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in 1981, and after an extended fellowship in England, joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 1983.
