Speaker Tom Talbot, M.D., M.P.H., FSHEA, FIDSA.
Event Details Dr. Talbot is a Professor of Medicine and Health Policy at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He is also the Chief Hospital Epidemiologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Talbot is a recognized expert in the field of healthcare epidemiology and infection control, as he currently serves as a member of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC) and recently served on the Board of Directors for the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA). He also serves on the Editorial Board for Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, the preeminent journal in the field.
