Brief Description: Scott was born and raised in Milwaukee where he has lived for most of his life. He studied biomedical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and later decided to stay in Milwaukee to train in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he earned both his MD degree and a PhD in physiology. Through his studies, he developed an interest in the application of technology to medicine, and he decided to pursue a career in radiology where he hopes to develop and apply new diagnostic and therapeutic tools and technologies to advance personalized medicine. He is thrilled to launch his career as a preliminary medicine intern at Vanderbilt before heading to St. Louis for his radiology residency at Washington University. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar, sailing, weight lifting, and wrestling, and he looks forward to the warmer winters, great food, and vibrant music scene in Nashville.
