Dhairya Lakhani, M.D.

Brief Description: Dhairya grew up in India, where he completed his medical school training in 2015. There he was extensively involved in managing his journal “International Journal of Scientific Study”, which he co-founded during his second year of medical school. It encompasses around 150 editors across the globe, with the objective of promoting research amongst young physicians. He was elected Executive Board Member for World Young Doctors Organization and Vice President for International Federation of Medical Students’ Association- India. Following his medical school graduation, he worked on early detection of lung cancer using CT based quantitative image analysis “Radiomics” under the mentorship of Dr. Pierre Massion at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dhairya (pretends to!) enjoys spending time outdoors, running, and biking (to keep an eye on his weight). He is really excited to start his Internship and stay in Nashville for one more year, before he starts his radiology residency at West Virginia University.
