Ian Bentley, M.D.

Brief Description: Ian is the oldest of four children and was born in Port Huron, Michigan. He moved to Cincinnati when he was nine and has lived there ever since. He did his undergrad at Xavier University, where he studied biology, chemistry and theology and discovered his deep love of basketball. Then to the chagrin of all his friends, he moved across town to Xavier’s biggest rival for medical school. At the University of Cincinnati, he met his better half, Erin Bouquet, and they are both excited to be co-residents in Vanderbilt’s IM program for the next three years! They are eager to move to Nashville and Ian is really looking forward to exploring a whole city’s worth of new breweries and restaurants. He is also looking forward to the mild winters and relative lack of snowfall! Ian loves to play basketball, cook elaborate dinners, play video games, mountain bike and sit poolside.
