Brief Description: Lisa was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She spent her childhood summers with family in Japan, where she cultivated her love for food and adventures. She played volleyball competitively, until everyone had a growth spurt except for her. She attended the University of Georgia for undergrad, where she majored in cellular biology and genetics. She stayed loyal to her Dawgs despite some pretty disappointing seasons. She stayed in Georgia to attend the Medical College of Georgia, where she was involved in student-run clinics and spent a summer in Peru learning about rural women’s health. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cooking, trying new wines, and exploring new cities with her boyfriend and her dog. She is so excited to move to Nashville and join the intern class at Vanderbilt!
