Jason D. Morrow Chief Fellow Teaching Award

The Fellows Teaching Award is given to the current Jason D. Morrow Chief Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology.  Our Chief Fellow is responsible for  planning the weekly conferences, mentoring to the junior Fellows and is a role model for all Fellows.

Dr. Jason D. Morrow received his bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and his M.D. from Washington University.  He completed internship and residency at Vanderbilt and infectious disease training at Washington University before settling at Vanderbilt. He served as Chief Medical Resident from 1987 to 1988. Dr. Morrow joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 1994, and later was named the F. Tremaine Billings Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology. In 2005, he became the fourth chief of the Division of Clinical Pharmacology. Over the next three years, he substantially increased the size of the division in number of faculty   and National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding.

Dr. Morrow was particularly committed to the training of our Fellows and did everything in his power to ensure a positive experience by our trainees.
